Jess Spear explores why today’s most powerful class struggles often emerge outside the workplace, led by the working-class women who confront capitalism’s failures in their homes and communities. Drawing on different social movements, she examines how women have become a vanguard of resistance in an era of overwork, ecological crisis, and social fragmentation. Jess Spear presents a transformative vision for a society that values care, community, and the time to live fully human lives.
